Muscadine

This grapevine is native to the southeast, thriving in the hot and humid climate. It produces dark purple or black berries when ripe, and is one of nature's richest sources of healthy antioxidants. It is a separate subgenus to most other grapes, with a tough skin that consumers aren't as fond of. As a result, they are often used for making wine, juices, and jelly. We have 2 cultivated vines and several wild ones producing fuit for us.
