Scuppernong

A large variety of Muscadine, it is similar in appearance to a white grape, but larger and rounder. It is native to North Carolina, and is even the state fruit. They make deliciously sweet wine, and are commonly used for jams, preserves, or jellies. These vines ripen in late summer, to be harvested in August and September. We have one of these vines producing fruit for us.
